So, holy shit. It's been nearly three years since the last time I submitted anything here... fanfic, my crappy art, a journal entry, anything. And that's pretty much all on me, because my life has been a bit too RL in the past little while to really focus on fanworks.

In brief, this is a rundown of the past few years since my 2011 Goin' to Dragon*Con post:

• Fell most of the way out the Transformers fandom due to personal issues
• Started refocusing most of my fanwork on the Marvel universe, specifically the MCU
• Fell in love with Sherlock
• Fell in love with Teen Wolf
• Got a job offer in the Atlanta area in early 2013
• Left my job at FSU
  
• Moved to Decatur in August 2013
• Got laid off from the job in November 2013
• Was on Florida unemployment for a month
• Got hired at the newest Movie Tavern property in Roswell in early December as a food runner
  
• Am in the process of being promoted to server as of this Monday

So, yeah.

I'm still writing from time to time, but all of my stuff has been pretty much going directly up on AO3; my username over there is Katsuko.

And... that's about it. I've been here faving stuff, but I'm mostly just doing my thing elsewhere.

It's only four days until Dragon*con kicks off (September 2 through 5, although I won't be staying for the whole thing). and I will be heading out of Tallahassee sometime Thursday, stopping off in Cuthbert for the night, then continuing into Atlanta on Friday. There're a few of the panels that look interesting to us, and we'll get to visit with friends who live too far away to visit easily (why, yes, it is rather goddamn difficult to visit the friend who lives in New York, since I work for the state and they pay peanuts despite what everyone in the US thinks ). Also I'll probably be posting photos of the costume pieces I made for Apollymi and myself, so there's that to look forward to.

We're meeting up with some of Li's family on Saturday evening for dinner, which is awesome! I'm looking forward to that like you wouldn't believe

Sunday, I'm not sure of when we'll be headed back out, but I'm fairly sure we'll be trying to get as far as Cuthbert again. After that the plan is either to visit for the afternoon and head back into Tallahassee or spend the night and head back to Tallahassee on Monday early, before Labor Day traffic gets insane. Tuesday is the day to recuperate from the trip, which I'll probably need.

Anyways, yeah.

Still trying to decide on posting my H/C Bingo stuff here. I'm leaning towards "yeah" at the moment.

So, for the second year in a row I'm participating in hc_bingo. Unlike last year, I'm not planning to limit myself to any one fandom. I've already kicked off fairly well (received my card on Friday the 10th, did the first fill on Tuesday the 14th), so I'm hoping I can keep up momentum and do at least one fill per week.

My card is located here and here. I'm posting the fills to both journals, and also to my AO3 account, and am pondering on doing likewise here. Would anyone be interested in seeing me post the fills, or are y'all just content to check them out in the other locations?

Also, note to self: PM email address to SilverPhantom so as to get Botcon comic scans. Mission accomplished. Now to figure out which prompt to tackle next on the bingo card.

Since I'm not attending Botcon this year, I want to take a minute to express good travel karma to those who are making the trip to Pasadena... and then shamelessly beg for scans of this year's convention tie-in comic. Because I'm a shameless bitch like that.

In other convention news: I will be attending Dragon*con this year for the entire weekend with the exception of Labor Day Monday (because that's my Recover From Traveling 4+ Hours from Tallahassee to Atlanta Then Repeat in Reverse Day, including bonus!laundry time) with apollymi and desolate03, possibly to be joined later by a few other friends. The costuming theme is Steampunk/Neo-Victorian, so I'm in full(ish) swing with sewing and doing costume-y stuff. Well, I should have seen it coming but, meh.

"Green is the Colour" was removed from dA due to content violation; I'm guessing it was the fact that there was adult content.

What makes me kind of shake my head over it is, I've seen much more graphic fics on the site yet they're likely still up, while mine is not.
